Random thoughts from today:
1) Where does all the laundry come from?
2) Where does the time go? Wake up at 7am and the next thing I know it is 4pm & we're at Target purchasing peanut butter and cat food.
3) Wonder if drool & snot could become a new fashion statement?
4) New way to tell time: social worker visits & court dates.
5) Why Puck keeps fussing after you have purchased the cat food & fed him?
6) Where is my "mommy" wand - you know the one that magically produces fully cooked meals that little man expects the moment he tells you he's hungry?
Today was a rougher day at the Wood house. Andy woke up with the right side of his sinus clogged & right ear feeling "full". My sinuses were also clogged this am. "S" was cranky. Our social worker visited today for the first visit since "S" came into our care. Good visit. After her visit, Andy looked like he had been run over by a truck, and "S" slid on the kitchen floor & smacked down hard on the floor. With "S" crying & Andy looking like crud, I stayed home from my JumpBunch meeting. I coerced Andy into taking some Dayquil & napping. "S" & I played, ate lunch, "S" napped & I worked. We let Andy sleep until about 5:15pm. When he got up, Andy discovered what we believe is a ruptured eardrum! So, off to the doctor we go tomorrow morning! Yeah!!
And, now it is time for me to sleep.
