Lydia has inspired me to update the look of my blog for the summer. I like the cheerful yellow background with green & brown accents. Thanks for the inspiration...you guys are always in my prayers.
We have just returned from a week at the beach - Emerald Isle. This is actually where Andy & I first met 15 years ago this coming week! That is totally crazy when you stop & think about it. But, God had a plan & I have faith that it is going according to His plan. Stanley & Puck were very happy to see us yesterday. Grandma Carol looked after the boys, and Puck was very well-behaved. However, they have been reluctant to let Andy or I out of their sites since we walked in the door yesterday afternoon.
Big kudos to my loving husband Andy: 1) he FINALLY finished the John Feinstein book about the NFL (this has been a longgggg process), and 2) he read Tony Dungy's "Quiet Strength" in a day-and-half. I was very surprised this morning when I overheard him telling Randy that he should read it, that it was a really great book. I stopped him in mid-sentence b/c I had to ask if he finished it last night - which he had.
On the adoption front: our social worker has submitted our profile for a total of 4 children...just waiting to hear back from the local DSS offices. Keep us in your prayers.

I LOVE your blog's sunny new look! So glad to hear that you are feeling refreshed and things are looking hopeful- we are praying for y'all!!! We need to take Hannah out after her surgery for a milkshake, I'd love to see you again!
