We're Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! I just heard from our social worker that we were approved to adopt a child. We should be getting our approval letter in the mail soon. This means we will also be getting profiles of children soon also. Thank you all for your prayers & warm wishes. Andy says he did not have any doubt that we would be approved...but you know me, I tend to worry about all kinds of stuff.

This is so exciting...I even forgot what I was going to write next :):)

Now I remember!! I asked in an earlier post if I should choose the "surprise" Andy had planned or the NC State spring football game. Those of you who have given me feedback, wither on the blog or by email, encouraged me to choose the surprise. Well, I have chosen the "surprise". However, the "surprise" has changed b/c Andy looked at the tickets for the "surprise" on Saturday & realized that the "surprise" was actually on Friday April 18 NOT Saturday April 19. And, we will not be able to get to South Carolina in time after work on Friday (I know I could try to get off work early but I don't feel like this is a possibility). Andy told me what the surprise was...tickets to see Kate & Adain Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8. For those of you who may not know, Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a reality family show on Discovery about a couple who, through infertility treatments, ended up first with twin daughters & then ended up with 6 more children when they tried to have 1 more child. It is a great show & we are hooked.

So, there is a new "surprise" & that's all I know.
