1) Andy: I am married to a wonderful man. Yes, at times he tries my patience, but I wouldn't trade him for anyone else in the world. I am so thankful he finally made it home last night after being on the "road" for work since Monday.
2) Jon, April & Alyssa: Jon is Andy's younger brother, who's currently home on R & R from Iraq. Jon being home has produced an earlier gathering than Thanksgiving of 4/6 or 2/3 of the Wood clan.
3) Callie & Gabriel: Callie is Andy's youngest sister & sibling. Jon & April were so sweet & generous of themselves to drive down to Charleston, SC to pick up Callie & Gabriel so that they could be with our family this weekend.
4) Alanna, Jonathan & Carolina: Alanna has quickly become one of my dearest friends & I truly love her. She has the sweetest, most caring soul. I am truly blessed to have such a person on my life...not only are we sister-in-laws but we're friends.
5) Donnie & Joan: Andy's dad & his wife. Andy & I are so happy to host the family get together this weekend because Donnie & Joan have hosted the family the last 2 yrs at Thanksgiving on the Outer Banks; as well as long weekends in Virginia Beach. Their hospitality in the past has really helped the Wood siblings to form new bonds & relationships now that they have reached adulthood.
6) Jesse: Though he is not here physically this weekend, Jesse is with us in our hearts & in spirit. Can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving, Captain JDub!
7) Josh, Shiloh & Eden: Josh & Shiloh gave us our first sweet niece of the three...and now they are giving us the encore presentation. Shiloh is due March 8...and they are having a girl. Josh takes the most beautiful & original wedding photos. What the man can do with a camera...
