Well, we received our foster parent license from the state of North Carolina yesterday. Kind of interesting that we were approved by CHS about 1 month ago, and then we get our license. But what makes it even more interesting is that our foster parent license is dated 28 February 2008. Crazy, huh!?!?
I would also like to clarify the whole fostering issue: we will only foster the child we will be adopting, we are adopting through foster-to-adopt. That is why we are licensed as foster parents.
We have received some profiles for children from our social worker (SW). Just trying to decide what will be the best for all concerned. Will keep you informed when we have more concrete information. I know that God knows who our child is, and that He will help guide this entire process.
I am feeling better...have had a nasty gastrointestinal virus for the last 5 days...today was the first day that I woke up & actually felt like myself. And, I was able to eat food at the conference today & really enjoyed it!!!!! I had been eating mainly toast, pretzels & plain pasta. Drinking lots of ginger ale & eating Pepto Bismol tablets.
And, CVS brand liquid Pepto IS NOT the same as the real stuff!!! Though, on Tuesday at work one of the secretaries shared her liquid Rite Aid brand Pepto with me - now it was pretty good...thick like the original Pepto & had a very similar taste. But, when you need Pepto do not go down the generic road.
